The studio

Most business software is built for people who buy it.
We build for the people who open it every day.

innov8 Ventures is a small product studio. We pick one boring problem at a time — payroll day, the morning rush, the stockroom — and ship the simplest tool that gets a team unstuck.

No platform. No suite. No "ecosystem." Just a handful of focused apps that talk to each other when they need to, and stay out of the way when they don't.

What we're building

One small product at a time.

innov8 People ships this quarter. Counter and Stock follow. The rest of the everyday operations stack is on the slow burner — we promise to take our time.

innov8 People · launching Q2 2026

Mobile-first HR your team will actually open.

A people app built for the way people work in 2026 — on their phone, between meetings, on the way home. Request leave in three taps. Find a payslip without raising a ticket. See who's in today.

  • Leave requests, approvals, and balances in one place
  • Payslips, P60s, and contracts in the same pocket
  • Team directory with who's in, who's out, who's where
  • Light enough to run on patchy mobile data

How we build

Three rules. Stuck on the fridge.

We're a small team, so we have to be honest about what we're good at and what we aren't. These three rules show up on every product we ship — tap a card to see what we actually mean.

01

Mobile first, on purpose

Every product starts on a phone because that's where the work happens — on a shop floor, in a meeting, on a commute home.

  • Designed thumb-up before desktop
  • Designed for weak mobile signal — uses very little data
  • No "lite" mobile version. The phone is the product.
  • Push notifications used sparingly, like a friend would
02

Boring tech, fast iteration

We pick the most boring tech for the job, so the team can spend its energy on the parts of the product you actually see.

  • One simple system, not a tangle of moving parts
  • Weekly releases, never on a Friday
  • No AI features unless they earn their keep
  • Release notes in plain English and Burmese
03

Honest about scope

We tell you what each product does, what it doesn't, and what it never will. No roadmaps for things we don't intend to ship.

  • No hidden tiers, no surprise add-ons
  • One product for shops and factories alike — no separate "Enterprise" edition
  • A working contact form, answered by a person
  • We say "no" more than we say "soon"
FAQ

The questions we get every week.

If your question isn't here, send it — we add real ones in the order they arrive.

Myanmar businesses where most of the team works on their phone, not at a desk — factories, retail chains, restaurants, clinics, offices. The first version is built around HR teams with 10 to 200 staff, but the same product runs for companies of 2,000+. Every rule can be set per company and then overridden per person, so messy real-world structures fit.
Five ways, and you pick the ones that fit your site: connected to the office WiFi, inside a GPS perimeter, scanning a QR code that rotates every few seconds, tapping a Bluetooth beacon at the door, or — for the genuinely stuck — getting a coworker to vouch for them, which is logged for HR to review. Most sites use two or three together, which makes buddy-punching very hard without making honest staff jump through hoops.
Yes. Every screen, button, payslip line, and notification is in both English and Burmese. Staff pick their language the first time they open the app and can switch any time.
Per employee, per month, billed in kyats. We don't publish a public price sheet yet because the right number depends on your headcount and how much of the platform you use. Tell us how many staff you have and we'll quote you the same day.
It runs on both Android and iPhone, and it's built for the low-end handsets most staff already carry. The app is small, uses very little data, and is designed to survive a weak mobile signal. Version 1 does need an internet connection to clock in and sync — full offline mode is on the roadmap.
Yes. The platform is per-company from day one, with employee-level overrides on almost every rule, so larger organisations with multiple departments, sites, and salary structures fit as naturally as a 20-person shop. If you're 500+ staff, mention it when you get in touch and we'll walk through the setup with you.
